At 1,700 meters in the hilly and heavily vegetated mountains of the San Pedro Nectra municipality of western Huehuetenango, sit the three family-owned farms that this coffee comes from. Jacinto Pérez Sánchez, Francisco Pérez Sánchez and Rudy Pérez Sánchez. There are two rounds of picking and the coffee is handpicked and sorted by the members of the family, which also operates their own wet mill. The coffee is dried on their own patios.
