We absolutely love Luis Alberto Balladarez and have carried several of his coffees each year for the last several years. Finca La Bendicion is one of our favorite farms and has received a lot of attention and awards for the extremely high quality coffee it produces, including the cup of excellence.
Each of the 8 parcels on this farm produces a unique variety of coffee, allowing for a range of very different styles of coffee. We personally love the Pacamara Natural, which we’ve featured several times. It boasts a fruity cup with a lightly caramel tone. It’s well balanced in flavor in a way that we particularly enjoy.
These cherries are shade dried for 20 to 35 days, and carefully monitored to ensure slow and uniform drying with controlled temperatures and humidity. This level of attention and care is present in every cup from La Bendicion.
Recommended brew method: V60 | Chemex | Aeropress
