Ethiopia Yirgacheffe IwaritiYirgacheffe is to coffee what Champagne is to wine — a name that evokes grace, purity, and timeless beauty. From Ethiopia’s misty southern highlands comes this exquisite heirloom lot, cultivated in small garden plots and gathered by more than eleven hundred devoted farmers.
Each cup unfolds like a quiet morning ritual — silky and composed, with bright acidity and floral whispers that drift toward Darjeeling tea. Notes of black tea, lemongrass, and crisp apple mingle in perfect balance, leaving a clean, luminous finish that lingers long after the last sip.
This coffee was sourced through Steve Holt, formerly of Ninety Plus, now collaborating with Ashenafi Argaw to continue a legacy of remarkable Ethiopian coffees. Its name, “Iwariti,” means love and persistence in Amharic — a tribute to the care, patience, and quiet devotion woven into every harvest.
