Hunapu is made up from many small producers' farms. The team at the Bella Vista mill, where the producers' coffees are processed, catalog and choose the best lots from each day, and create Hunapu from them. The idea is to recognize and properly compensate the top knotch quality that these smaller producers are able to achieve, and putting them together to create an amount that is able to be sold at larger quantities than if they were to keep them separate. With all of the contributing producers' farms being smaller than 5 hectares, they may not be able to produce enough on their own to sell and export reliably each harvest.
