Sumatra Gayo – Orang Utan Partnership
This bold, velvety coffee from the Gayo Highlands of Northern Sumatra is more than just a rich cup—it's part of a mission to protect the critically endangered Sumatran orangutan and support sustainable, forest-friendly farming.
Grown by smallholder farmers and processed using the traditional wet-hulled method, this dark roast delivers notes of semi-sweet chocolate, amaretto, dark cherry, and smoke. Through our collaboration with the Orang Utan Coffee Project, each bag helps preserve one of the last intact rainforests and supports local farmers with premiums that reward responsible stewardship.
Full-bodied, low acidity, and deeply complex, this roast is ideal for French press, drip, or espresso—hot or iced. A classic profile with a powerful purpose.
Contains caffeine.
Roaster: Fruits & Roots Coffee Roasters, Columbus, Ohio.
Recommended Brewing Method: French Press | V60 | Auto Drip | Espresso
